The Land.

The Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument- Imagine a set from Star Wars. A remarkable outdoor laboratory, offering an opportunity to observe, study, and experience the geologic magic.
The Sandia Mountain day hikes. The land is integral to New Mexico's culture and character. 57 trails at every level. Go from desert to high desert on one hike. And the view! Dreamy.
Chaco Canyon National Park- A archaeological wonder. For all the wild beauty of Chaco Canyon's high-desert landscape, its long winters, short growing seasons, and marginal rainfall create an unlikely place for a major center of ancestral Puebloan culture to take root and flourish. Plan a full day for a visit.
